Yeng Yang earned his Bachelor of Science in Economics from Metropolitan State University and brings over 20 years of diverse work experience to HAFA. His background includes property management and delivery driving, giving him a strong foundation in logistics, reliability, and service.
At HAFA, Yeng currently serves as Food Hub Driver and he is excited to contribute to the growth of the Food Hub and support the organization’s mission, while continuing to grow alongside the community it serves. Like many in the Hmong community, Yeng was raised in a family deeply connected to agriculture—his parents have spent much of their lives growing crops and raising livestock, which has shaped his appreciation for farming and local food systems.
Outside of work, Yeng enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, and exploring new cultures. He frequently visits Laos, where his parents are from, and values staying connected to his roots. He also enjoys sharing his knowledge with others, whether through cooking or offering travel tips and experiences.

We are dedicated to advancing the prosperity of Hmong farmers through cooperative endeavors, capacity building and advocacy. HAFA was started and is led by family farmers. Organizing is in our DNA.
